Chinese Metaphysics consist of many individual fields which can be classified into broad categories of Astrology, Feng Shui, Divination and Strategy. One of the common misconceptions is that these are stand-alone fields and that practicing one does not require knowledge and streamlining with other fields of knowledge. In addition, many held the belief that Astrology subjects like Ba Zi (4 Pillars) and Zi Wei Dou Shu (ZWDS) are merely tools to foretell our fixed-capacity destiny and fortune and Feng Shui solely holds the key to betterment of one’s outcome and luck.
In actual fact, destiny is not entirely fixed. If destiny is entirely fixed, what is the use of consulting a doctor or surgeon for one’s illness? Geomancy tools are effective only up to the extent it complements one’s destiny and the key to betterment of one’s outcome and luck lies in using holistically using Geomancy, Divination and Strategy to support one’s destiny. A simple way to view this is to look at human as the object and Fengshui, Divination and Strategy as the tool. Astrology is tool to decipher human’s well-being and hence takes precedence over Fengshui, Divination and Strategy in the scheme towards improvement of one’s outcome.
Providing Feng Shui solution to client without considering their Ba Zi & Zi Wei Dou Shu charts is like a doctor prescribing medicine to patient without his own diagnosis. A Geomancer prescribing Feng Shui tools to improve wealth for his client upon request is like a doctor who prescribes aspirin to his patients because he relied on his patient to tell him the symptom of headache but did not investigate or is incapable of investigating if the headache is a symptom to other underlying illness.
It may cure the symptoms in the short run but problems may surface in the long term. For example, clients usually engage a Geomancer to improve their wealth. If this consultant did not consider the ramifications of the client’s birth data, he may hasten the windfall his client had asked, but in the long term this client may lose his health or life. Or he may get the career advancements he asked for but end up losing his wife to divorce. The various aspects of one’s life are intricately linked and you seldom can improve one aspect without losing out on other aspects. Destiny is also a zero-sum game.
How important are knowledge of 4 Pillars and ZWDS towards the execution of Geomancy? Stay tuned for the answer in my next article.

Were Jews being right in wanting to stone Christ, if he claimed to be God?
In John’s Gospel Jesus says ‘I and the Father are one.’ The Jews then took up stones to stone Him, and Jesus then asks them for which good work they wanted to kill him. They replied ‘for a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy….because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.’

If man, in the Torah, cannot see God, how do Christians pretend to have lived with God?
The Old testament tells us that no man can ever see God. This was denied to Moses himself. In Exodus 33: 19 we are informed: ‘The Lord replied, ‘I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, ‘the Lord’, to you. I will show kindness to anyone I choose, and I will show mercy to anyone I choose. But you may not look directly at my face, for no one may see me and live.’

How to approach God? Uncertainty of attainment! Part III
No one pretend to such attainment of God, nor did anyone who has made the full trip. But whatever hypocrites and pretenders to such attainment did never leave their bodies for one moment to attain unity with God,otherwise, they are not here to tell us their story.
We must always take what they pretend to have attained with a pinch of salt, and a big one for that matter.Sufis nor ascetics,or even saints, never attain unity with God annihilating their being, where ‘It is neither You nor I but You.

How to approach God? Uncertainty of attainment! Part II
What Christians claim for Christ is not the subject of this article but Jesus Christ is one of those who gave themselves to God.
Others have done the same, people who are called prophets and saints. Very few can attain the approach to God if they work hard enough to attain it.
You do not have to be a super human to do it. For within you have the divine breath, for without it you cannot even breathe nor live, you are just as good as dead, or worse.

How to approach God? Uncertainty of attainment! Part I
It is not enough to look into the universe and to apperceive God. This is rather a shortcoming to approach God.
For those who deny God and disbelieve in Him, the problem is resolved and they do not have to worry for the time being. They are immune to any hope of belief. Their eyes are blind, their hearts are blocked and their minds are closed. They have a soul but sense nothing, they have spirit but do not feel anything. They are walking zombies, without life and without death.

Look into yourself and you see God! It is free!
Our nature as humans is to wonder and look for an explanation, for ourselves and for everything. Our presence in our form and shape, in our constitution and function, denotes a sense of surprise and admiration. Curiosity is a natural impulse that makes every individual tick in one direction or another. It makes us look for the how and for the why. It makes us search for our reason of being and our origin and purpose.

The Prior Conditions of The Meeting Between Man and God © Part 2
The article will discuss the prior conditions to the occurrence of the meeting between man and God. Several conditions must be fulfilled before man can meet with God:
b) The skilled man cannot yet meet God because he expects redemption from God. The second prerequisite for the meeting is the commandment to love God, after which God can then respond.

Zi Wei Dou Shu for the Human Resources Practitioner
Recently I met up with an old friend, who is in the human resources industry. She was lamenting about the endless problems she has to resolve from the problematic employees in the company she is working in. It then reminded me of my good experiences so far from using the techniques of Chinese Face Reading and Chinese Astrology to select the people to work with or advising others on which candidate to employ or work with.

Story of an attempt to improve romance luck through Feng Shui
The solution proposed by the fortune teller? A pair of scissors to be placed in the Southwest corner of the room/house of lady B. He reasoned that the scissors will cut away the negative “Peach Blossom” and that Southwest is the love corner which is reserve for Fengshui-ing romance and love matters.

Being gay – Born or Acquired ?
There are some Bazi and ZWDS practitioners that staunchly takes the view that being gay is an acquired lifestyle because in the Bazi and Zi Wei Dou Shu clearly divides the line between Yin and Yang and therefore gay-ism (whereby Yin and Yang are mixed) does not conform to the laws of nature.

Hail Jose Mourinho, the rare prodigal talent!
If Jose Mourinho had been borned about half an hour earlier if we practised time adjustment, he would not have lifted the Champions League as a manager 3 days ago nor would he have been such an irrepressible talent. Instead, it is his originally reported hour of birth that shows a ZWDS chart that fits his autobiography to a T.

Zi Wei Dou Shu astrology – Background II
The Si Hua System on the other hand remained in the palace until close to the fall of the Qing dynasty when it became available to the public and therefore is clearly a much more exclusive system of study. A good practitioner should integrate both systems for a more comprehensive reading since the basic charts for both systems are the same and yet the strengths of each system differs.

Hence other authors may name it Emperor Astrology instead. There are two main schools of Zi Wei Dou Shu practised today. The first school emphasizes on reading the star characteristics and hails from San He lineage. The other school places an emphasis on reading the 4 Transformations (ie which means Si Hua in Chinese) and belongs to the Si Hua lineage.

Career Of Someone With Tan Lang (Greedy Wolf) Star In Their Zi Wei Dou Shu Chart
So while prostitution and performing arts all belong to the same career categorization of entertainment, care should be taken not to colour the birth chart of performing artistes with sleaze. While people with Tan Lang star may do well either in the performing arts or prostitution industry, there is a world of difference in both industrial professions. When is a Tan Lang star a talented artist or a great (sic) prostitute? Learn from Ken!
